Call for 2022-2023 Second Exchange Online Applications

 

  • The applications will be active from the 25th of April 2023. 
  • You can apply via BUIS / ÖBİKAS.
  • The applications are for only Spring 2024.
  • Please visit the “Exchange Partner List for Applications” for the Exchange Placement and read the "Notes, Criteria and Areas" carefully and make your choices accordingly.
  • Due to unforeseeable circumstances, quota and term information may change during the application period and can lead to loss of placement.
  • Please check the Host Institutions’ application requirements beforehand as they have the right to update their requirements.
  • If you would like to review your application, you should check the "Exchange Partner List for Applications” again.
  • If you change your department, it may cause the cancellation of your application.
  • If you previously participated in an Exchange Programme, you can apply again; however 10 points will be deducted.
  • You can participate in Exchange Programme maximum for 2 semesters in total, either in the same academic year or following years in the same academic level.
  • If you participate in a 1-year Exchange Programme, then you will not be able to apply for Exchange Programmes.
  • After signing the letter of commitment, 10 points will be deducted for your next Exchange Programmes application either in the same academic year or following years.
  • If you do not have a BUEPT result, please send your IELTS / TOEFL results after you complete your application (even if you sent it us in previous applications).
  • After your first BUEPT results, if you increased your BUEPT Grade, please send it after you complete your application (even if you sent it us in previous applications).
  • Universities in UK and Switzerland are considered as our Exchange partners; therefore you are able to select them in Exchange applications instead of Erasmus applications.
  • No grant will be given by us to the Exchange applications.
  • Students who plan to go to Switzerland should get information about the grant from the institution they are planning to go.
  • If you signed the letter of commitment for Erasmus for Spring 2024, then you are not be able to apply.
  • If currently you are a last year student or Spring 2024 will be your last semester, your academic advisor must confirm that you will study in Boğaziçi University for at least 1 semester after you return from your Exchange programme.
  • A minimum GPA of 2.50/4.00 for undergraduates, and  3.00/4.00 for graduate students is required.
  • Prep students and 1st year students are not eligible to apply.
