Erasmus+ Interns


Students must be registered at an institute of higher education and enrolled in studies leading to a recognized degree or other recognized tertiary level qualification (up to and including the level of doctorate).

How to Apply

Interested students should apply to the Office of International Relations at Boğaziçi University ( If you qualify for the Erasmus+ Internship Program, the Office will provide information on the possibilities of a traineeship in one of Bogazici departments, and put you into contact with the relevant academic staff.

    Please note:

    A bilateral agreement between the sending institution and Bogazici University is not mandatory in applying for an Erasmus+ traineeship at your home institution.

    Documentation after Acceptance

    We recommend to get in touch with our office before your arrival, as you will have to complete the registration upon your arrival.

    Residence Permit for Interns and Researchers

    Erasmus+ Interns who will complete their internship in less than 90 days, may not have to apply for an internship visa or apply for a residence permit, depending on the requirements of the Turkish government for your nationality.

      Erasmus+ Interns (interns for longer period then 90 days) must apply for the internship visa at the Turkish Consulate in their home country, apply for a residence permit individually upon arrival, from the Ministry of Interior, Directorate of Migration Management.
