First Placement Results for Outgoing Students in 2021-2022

Dear Boğaziçi Students,

Thank you for your interest in the student exchange program. We received a total of 1381 applications Out of 1381 students, 833 were placed.

You may view the results of the first placement of outgoing exchange students here.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Students who decide to participate in the Erasmus/Exchange program MUST FILL OUT the commitment form and send it by e-mail to the Office of International Relations no later than January 12, 2021, 23:59.

Due to conditions caused by the pandemic, we do NOT request hardcopy commitment forms.

The forms must be sent to the following email addresses: exchange-outgoing@boun.edu.tr/ erasmus-outgoing@boun.edu.tr. Also, we request you to send a confirmation to the google form link: https://forms.gle/6ksdPB3WETDKBfPZ7

Students who do not send their commitment forms and google form responses will be considered as “not placed”, thereby remaining out of our Erasmus/Exchange outgoing list.

Students who do not send their commitment forms until the due date will lose their placements, and the seats allocated to them will be made available for applications in the second round of placement.

Once you send your commitment form, your nomination process will start. Office of International Relations will guide you through the nomination process. The timing of this process varies depending on your placement. Placed students will spend a semester at the Erasmus/Exchange destination during the 2021-2022 academic year.

Please note that even if you have been nominated for an Erasmus destination, your funding is not guaranteedGrant points of Erasmus students will be recalculated at the end of the Spring term. The list of Erasmus grants are determined based on the amount provided by the National Agency.

Students, who will receive Erasmus grants, will be announced as soon as the Office is informed of the funds allocated by the National Agency for the 2021-2022 academic year. In the past three years, we were able to fund almost all students on Erasmus programs.

Sincerely,

Office of International Relations
