9. Application fee receipt

A separate application fee is required by each program applied. Please make sure that you fulfill all requirements for the department you are applying to and that the department has a quota before paying the application fee(s).


The application fee must be paid in person or by bank wire. The university does not accept credit cards or payment by PayPal. The application fee is non-refundable.

Standardized Test Score
Candidates for the undergraduate programs must submit their scores from SAT in the areas of math and reading. The candidate must have received a minimum score of 35.5 out of 40 in the “Math” test and a total score of 65 out of 80 in the “Math” and “Reading” tests of the SAT. 
The SAT score card is valid for two years and may be used to apply to up to three departments or programs. For more information on the SAT, please visit:
Language Proficiency

The medium of instruction at Boğaziçi University is English. All applicants must submit documentation proving proficiency in English. The Boğaziçi University Senate recognizes the results from a number of standardized tests for this purpose:
