First Placement Results for Outgoing Students in 2022-2023

Dear Boğaziçi Students,

Thank you for your interest in the Student Exchange/Erasmus program. We received a total of 1623 applications Out of 1623 students, 760 were placed.

Reminder: The UK is no longer included in the Erasmus Programs; hence, no grant will be given to the applications for the universities in the UK.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Students who decide to participate in the Erasmus/Exchange program MUST approve the online commitment form and submit it by OBIKAS/Registration System no later than December 27, 2021, 11:00 AM.

We do NOT request hardcopy commitment forms.

Students who do not submit their online commitment forms will be considered as “not placed”, thereby remaining out of our Erasmus/Exchange outgoing list.

Students who do not submit their online commitment forms until the due date will lose their placements, and the seats allocated to them will be made available for applications in the second round of placement.

Once you submit your online commitment form, your nomination process will start. Office of International Relations will guide you through the application process. The timing of this process varies depending on your placement. Placed students will spend a semester at the Erasmus/Exchange destination during the 2022-2023 academic year. 

Please note that even if you have been nominated for an Erasmus destination, your funding is not guaranteed. Grant points of Erasmus students will be recalculated at the end of the Spring term. The list of Erasmus grants is determined based on the amount provided by the National Agency.

Students, who will receive Erasmus grants, will be announced as soon as the Office is informed of the funds allocated by the National Agency for the 2022-2023 academic year.
